What To Expect

A typical hang glider tandem flight begins by meeting your tandem pilot at the coastal or mountain flying site. After signing a few waiver forms, you will be fitted with your own harness and safety helmet. Finally, you will be given a ten minute take-off and landing lesson. Launching a hang glider is easy, the only thing you will be required to do is hold on and run.

Bay Area Hang Gliding Tandem Instructors are ready to fly 7 days a week, just email or call us to get on the tandem schedule. Flying foot launched aircraft is very weather dependant, so there is a chance that you will be rescheduled. If this happens more than once you are welcome to a refund.

Each tandem flight lasts about 10 to 30 minutes and all equipment is provided.
