Unfortunately not everyone is an appropriate passenger on a tandem flight, one of the restrictions is to weigh less than 200 pounds. Call us for more information.

What To Expect

A typical hang glider tandem flight begins by meeting your tandem pilot at the coastal or mountain flying site. After signing a few waiver forms, you will be fitted with your own harness and safety helmet. Finally, you will be given a ten minute take-off and landing lesson. Launching a hang glider is easy, the only thing you will be required to do is hold on and run.

Bay Area Hang Gliding Tandem Instructors are ready to fly 7 days a week, just email or call us to schedule a flight. Flying foot launched aircraft is very weather dependant, so there is a chance that you will be rescheduled.

We will e-mail you with a confimation and the directions to the hang gliding site 2-3 days before the flight.

Each tandem flight lasts about 10 to 30 minutes and all equipment is provided.

Refund Policy: If you show up to fly more than twice and the conditions aren't appropriate you are welcome to a refund. We require 48 hours notice if you wish to change your reservation, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited.
